Today’s Astro Weather: September 28th, 2021

The Moon in Cancer squares the Sun in Libra at 6:57pm PDT. This Last Quarter Moon helps to create not just one but two Thor’s Hammer configurations: one with the Sun/Moon square at the base has Jupiter at the apex, and the other with Jupiter/Venus at the base has the Moon at the apex. This creates a powerful and potentially anxiety-inducing emphasis on family and social dynamics, bringing up hidden tensions and testing our faith. For some of us, this aspect may dredge up old hostilities and compulsions, feelings of being the family savior or scapegoat, and questioning just how much more are we willing to take. Somehow we need to find the balance between our needs and the needs of others, both those close to us and the larger society, and the problems that arise now give us the impetus to do whatever is necessary to put toxic patterns to rest.
