The Astrological Weather

Venus has entered her home sign of Taurus at 4:31am PDT, bringing more stability and practicality to our desires and the ways we connect.  This transit encourages us to take pleasure in tending to and beautifying our immediate environment.  We may have more appreciation for simple comforts now – good food and good drink shared with good people in pleasant surroundings.  We may also be more patient with our loved ones, though perhaps a bit stubborn, too.  

Venus in Taurus reminds us of the value of self-care, so this is a good time to pay attention to life/work balance and remember that work is a means to an end, not an end in and of itself.  During the next few weeks we are not likely to shy away from doing the work that secures our material comforts, but we also recognize the need for rest and taking time to enjoy the good things in life.
