Art & Astrology: February 13th, 2024

Mars conjoins Pluto in Aquarius at 10:06pm PST. Pluto can intensify Mars’ impulsiveness and hostile tendencies, and in the air sign of Aquarius that can mean more arguments and less willingness to compromise. While this transit can increase our drive to get things done, it can also amplify self-defeating and destructive thoughts, as well as obsessiveness and compulsive behaviors. When we feel on edge today, or ready to burn bridges, it’s time to take a deep breath, and then another, and hold off on hitting “send” or “post” unless it’s absolutely necessary. It’s also a time to be careful with tech, or when engaging in activities with a high risk of injury. This is a time to get curious about what motivates our actions, worrying less about control and focusing more on doing what is best for all concerned.
