Today’s Astro Weather: July 13th, 2022
The Full Moon in Capricorn at 11:38am PDT pulls our instincts and emotions toward responsibility, while simultaneously making us aware that responsibility isn’t our be-all-end-all. There is only so much we can endure, and while we may have convinced ourselves that we can and should persevere through toxic situations, something’s got to give. Now is the time to let go of the things we have previously given far too much of our power to.
The Sun in Cancer trines Neptune in Pisces, giving us a softer and kindlier outlook on our human condition, and in combination with the North Node in Taurus at the point of Thales helps us creatively navigate between our pragmatic mood and awareness of our deeper emotional needs.
This gentling of our perspective is much-needed, as the Moon is both out-of-bounds and conjoining a retrograde Pluto in Capricorn, giving our feelings a ruthless edge but also encouraging us dig deeply into all that lies beneath the surface of the power structures in our lives and reconsider our relationships with them.
Our world is transforming rapidly around us in ways both good and bad, and needs our compassion along with our patience to change for the better, and this Full Moon can help us generate more of what we need to go the distance in that effort, by forcing us to recognize that grinding ourselves down in service of the status quo is not sustainable.
Mercury in Cancer sextiles Uranus in Taurus at 5:17pm, giving us the potential for insight and inspiration that we can share with those we trust if we so choose, but Venus in Gemini square Neptune in Pisces at 10:24pm may fog our view in romantic fantasies. Now is not the time for escapism, when there is so much real beauty in life to appreciate and make loving space for.
