New Astrology Video: Chiron Conjunct Eris in Aries 2025
An Astrology Video About the Wounds That Won’t Be Quiet
Fellow astrologer Liz Muschett recently brought me back to her show The Astrology Star Sisters. This new astrology video talks about a potentially inflammatory series of three conjunctions between Chiron and Eris in Aries in 2025 and 2026.
Chiron is a Centaur, one of the minor planets orbiting between Saturn & Uranus. In Greek mythology, Chiron was a teacher to heroes, such as Hercules and Achilles. He was also a wise healer and oracle. When he was wounded with an arrow tipped in the poisonous Hydra’s blood, however, he could not heal the painful wound. Thus, in astrology he represents a wound we do not know how to heal for ourselves.
Eris is a dwarf planet whose discovery challenged our understanding of what constitutes a planet. That resulted in the demotion of Pluto from planet to dwarf planet, alongside Eris. In addition, Ceres was elevated from asteroid to dwarf planet because of Eris. Eris is also the Greek goddess of strife and discord, and is known for upsetting the status quo, calling out hypocrisy, and stirring up conflict.
These two are joining in a series of three conjunctions over 2025 & 2026, the first of which happened with the Gemini New Moon. However, since these are both slow-moving planets, they will stay close for lengthy periods around their actual conjunctions. Therefore, each planet that aspects them during those periods triggers reverberations of Chiron/Eris issues.

June has some potent transits coming up, so of course Liz and I will be getting together to talk about them. Jupiter makes a third and final square to Saturn on June 15th, the same day that Mars squares Uranus. This is a potentially frustrating and tumultuous combination! We should have a new video out about that in a week or so. After that we’ll have a video for the upcoming Summer Solstice here in the Northern Hemisphere, and of course a forecast for the New Moon in Cancer a week later. Stay tuned!
