New Astrology Video: Jupiter in Cancer square Saturn in Aries
An Astrology Video About Two Kinds of Leadership
I’ve got a new astrology video out about this weekend’s big astrological weather that we’ve already seen the fallout from across the United States. This weekend brought huge protests affirming unity in the face of authoritarianism, and a few violent incidents by those trying to suppress free speech and peaceable assembly. Of course this is completely in alignment with the astrological archetypes at work.
Jupiter has now been in sympathetic Cancer for just under a week and is applying to a square with Saturn in action-oriented Aries that perfects on Sunday, June 15th, as well as a square with Neptune in Aries that perfects on Wednesday, June 18th.
Jupiter’s square to Saturn is the third in a series that began in August of 2024. That brings to a head potential conflicts between kindly leadership and authoritarianism, challenging us to keep the faith in the face of fear.
In addition, this transit is accompanied by a jarring square from Mars in the anaretic 29th degree of Leo to Uranus in Taurus, amplifying the tension between the desire for liberty and passionate action that can see tempers flaring. This combination gets amplified by Mars’ rulership of Saturn in Aries while Mars is also in a supportive sextile with Jupiter, who has a tendency to make everything bigger.
