Today’s Astro Weather: August 21st, 2022

Mercury in Virgo opposes Neptune in Pisces at 0:41am PDT. This opposition occurs at the degree where Mercury enters its retrograde shadow, so Neptune’s tendency to confuse whatever it touches may foreshadow what we should be mindful of during Mercury’s retrograde from September 9th to October 2nd.

Regardless, now is a time to double-check written work, strive for extra clarity in communications, and stay alert on the road, as all Mercury matters can feel foggy today. Important decisions, delicate negotiations, and signing contracts may need to be delayed until our thinking clears, as Neptune blurs the details that Mercury in Virgo prizes, and makes it hard to focus on worldly matters.

This is a better time for daydreaming, making and enjoying art or music or poetry, and acknowledging what is mysterious and universal rather than expecting precision and punctuality.
