Today’s Astro Weather: September 10th, 2021

Venus enters Scorpio today @ 1:39pm, on Venus’ day, with the Moon also in Scorpio as of last night. She is no longer in her own convivial realm, and now feels the drive and compulsion of Mars’ nocturnal realm. Our ability to connect with others is no longer as easy and diplomatic as it was during Venus’ sojourn through Libra, and we may find that who and what we are drawn to in the coming weeks is less socially acceptable, maybe even taboo.

Venus is used to drawing others to her, but now she is in the uncomfortable position of having to pursue what she wants. She is deeply conscious of the change in power dynamics, and more reticent as a result, knowing that voicing her desires could make her vulnerable. Our desires are potent during this time, even obsessive, and we are not so forgiving if our will is thwarted now. This is a time to cultivate awareness of our unconscious drives and hidden desires, and recognize just how far we are willing to go to get what we want. Do the ends truly justify the means?
