Spooky Season with a Twist

This weekend brings a justice-seeking New Moon in Libra with a brooding, Scorpionic underbelly. Libra’s ruler Venus is currently retrograde in Scorpio, a sign of her detriment, and mere hours after the New Moon she faces a showdown with Scorpio’s traditional ruler Mars in Leo and transcendental ruler Pluto in Aquarius, via a fiercely emotional fixed T-Square.

The New Moon in Libra wants everything to be gracious and beautiful, but with Libra’s ruler Venus in a tight spot reassessing our relationships, finances, aesthetics, and values while determined to transform or kill off any connections that can’t stand up to brutal honesty, it’s likely to be difficult to keep the peace.

My friend and fellow astrologer Liz Muschett brought me back on her show The Astrology Star Sisters to talk about this New Moon and some of the planetary alignments colouring it.

Upcoming Events

We’re now heading into spooky season, which tends to also be the busy season for Tarot readers in particular. That means that after doing a limited number of live events this year, I’ve actually got three events in Washington state all happening in one month!

For those who prefer their astrology and Tarot readings in-person, I’ll be reading Tarot at Aura Song Gifts’ Halloween Party in Auburn on October 10th, then at the Centralia Ghost Walk and Dark Market on October 16th & 17th, and finally back at the PNW Witches’ Market Samhain Celebration on October 25th, in Lynnwood. New Divinatory Art: Fire Horse

At long last I’ve finally finished this piece, which got put on the back burner due to having far too much on my plate in August and then taking a lengthy trip to Chicago during the first half of September for the United Astrology Conference. As soon as I’ve gotten prints made of this they will be available for purchase in the Icon Alchemy online shop, hopefully before Halloween. In the meantime, information about the symbolism in this piece is available in this public post on Patreon.
