Solar Eclipse in Leo: New Astrology Videos Plus New Art

Leo Solar Eclipse: The Visible and the Invisible


We are now on the other side of this week’s Solar Eclipse in Leo, though we are likely to be feeling the effects for some time. Over the next six months, we may see the results of an eclipse-fueled impetus to shift our awareness of how we appear or disappear in whatever area of life we most wish to shine.

What are we communicating to those we most wish to connect with? What may be clouding our vision, or leading us to over-do it, and where are we choosing not to appear that is speaking very loudly about what we want and how we do it?

My friend and fellow astrologer Liz Muschett brought me back on her show The Astrology Star Sisters to talk about this eclipse and some of the planetary alignments that colour it.

Minor Planets Stationing in August

Mars entered sensitive Cancer yesterday, and is now sextile Chiron retrograde in Taurus. Chiron’s station retrograde at the beginning of August was the first in a trio of retrogrades this month. On the heels of the Solar Eclipse in Leo we have Pallas stationary retrograde in Aries, having trined that eclipse just two days prior, and thus sustaining the connection with the eclipse degree and the Grand Fire Trine with Natural Black Moon Lilith in Sagittarius.

The month wraps up with Vesta’s station retrograde in Aries as well, creating a string of 2 planets, 2 goddess asteroids, 5 TNOs, and one Centaur, ALL retrograde at the same time, with all but Chiron in Aries, and Chiron preparing to rejoin them there in September. o.O

That’s a whole lot of kinetic resistance in an area of life where we are accustomed to being decisive and getting things done. Now we’ve got much to consider on multiple levels, before we are prepared to move forward again.

Divinatory Art from Cancer Season

I began this art in connection with the New Moon in Capricorn back in January, but did the lion’s share of work on it around July’s Full Moon in Capricorn and New Moon in Cancer, exploring the polarity of these Cardinal signs over the course of that six month window.
