New Astrology Video: New Moon Forecast Aries 2025
What’s Happening
We’re in the thick of eclipse season, having already experienced the Lunar Eclipse in Virgo on March 13th and heading into a Solar Eclipse in Aries on March 29th. And as promised here is my latest astrology video to help make sense of it.
A Solar Eclipse is not simply a juiced-up New Moon but rather it’s a pause in the normal cosmic routine. The Moon moves between the Earth and the Sun, blocking out the light of consciousness, our normal sense of purpose and order.
This is why it’s not a good time to do our usual New Moon intention-setting, but rather it’s a time to sit in the dimness and see how our understanding changes. Eclipses help us to recognize that our normal way of doing things may be in need of an overhaul. Surprising changes may be in store in the parts of our lives touched by Aries!

I am currently in the process of moving out of Seattle and heading back to Camano Island – still in Washington state, but away from the noise and bustle of the city.
Just as big changes are in store for me with this move, so they are for the cosmic weather as Neptune is gearing up to head into Aries after 12 years in Pisces. Neptune is the second of the outer planets to move from Yin signs to Yang signs within the 9 months from November 2024 when Pluto moved into Aquarius to July 2025 when Uranus enters Gemini. All 3 outer planets making this elemental shift within such a relatively short time is a big deal, marking a major change in the zeitgeist for an entire generation.
I’m hoping to get one more video out before the end of the month to talk about that shift, but given that I’m up to my elbows in boxes and the chaos of moving I’m not going to make any promises! Regardless, like most Western astrologers I’ll be talking about it plenty in the months to come, and will be sure to return with more videos in April. Stay tuned!
