New Astrology Video: Planetary Stations July 2025

An Astrology Video About Changing Directions

This month has the unusual distinction of having planetary stations retrograde by three planets (Mercury, Saturn, and Neptune), as well as one dwarf planet (Chiron), with one of the major asteroids (Juno) stationing direct for good measure. So of course it’s time for a new astrology video about it all!

The Neptune station has coloured the first week of July with a potential for increased daydreaming and soft focus. While now on the separating side of the exact station on July 4th, Neptune continues to appear to be barely moving, so Neptune themes of ideals, dreams, spirituality, creativity, and the interconnectedness of all life continue to be prominent for the next few days, as well as a strong potential for confusion, delusion, deception, and general impracticality.

We are already in the shadow of Saturn’s station retrograde coming up on July 12th and Mercury’s station retrograde on July 18th. With so many planets appearing to reverse course in the sky, and Saturn just minutes away from Neptune while stationary, we may experience an underlying sense of confusion and shifting of priorities in the lead-up to the more overt monkeyshines we’ve come to expect from Mercury retrograde. Saturn’s prominence in the astrological weather during this time reminds us that when things are confusing, it pays to slow down and be patient, the better to be discerning about things that might otherwise catch us by surprise.

Summer is always a busy time, so it’s going to be a week or two before my next video.
