I have a new astrology video to share for this weekend’s Solar eclipse in Virgo as well as one for the Libra ingress that follows on Monday. But first, some new artwork!

Astrology Art for the Recent Mercury Cazimi

It’s been a tumultuous eclipse season, with last week’s Mercury cazimi in Virgo bringing insights and clarity to some of the chaos. I’ve created new artwork for that cazimi, honoring civil rights activist Sister Thea Bowman. More information about this artwork can be found in this public post on Patreon, and it is now available for sale in my shop on Etsy.

My Patreon patrons got to see the preliminary ink of this drawing with some additional thoughts on Mercury’s cazimi in Virgo in a patrons-only post a few days prior to that transit. Astrology Video: New Moon Forecast Virgo Eclipse 2025

I’ve got a new astrology video up on my YouTube channel from The Astrology Star Sisters show with Liz Muschett, where we talk about the second of two New Moons in this sign. This New Moon is happening at the anaretic 29° of Virgo and coincides with a Solar Eclipse on Sunday, September 21st. This eclipse is invisible for most of the world, being visible only near Antarctica, but that doesn’t make it any less powerful.

Eclipses act as a cosmic reset button and can signal unexpected changes in whatever areas of our lives they touch. This is a time when the conscious awareness of the Sun is overshadowed by the unconscious awareness of the Moon. That increases the importance of taking care of our bodies and our feelings as the eclipse disrupts the normal order of our routines and practical concerns.

Liz and I look at the transits flavoring this eclipse, and talk about ways to work with this energy. It may be helpful to pay attention to the ways in which our inner narratives shape our habits.

Societal forces are looming large at this time. The personal is political, so our relationships have the power to help us weather storms in the zeitgeist. However, we must acknowledge the importance of fairness and balance between individual and social needs.

Another New Astrology Video: Astrology and Tarot Libra Season 2025

In this astrology video Liz Muschett has once again brought Joy Vernon and myself back onto The Astrology Star Sisters show to talk about the astrological weather through the lens of Tarot.

This episode starts with a look at the Libra ingress on Monday, September 22nd. We then take an in-depth look at several of the transits accompanying this ingress, as well as some Tarot cards associated with Libra. We follow that with analysis of both a Grand Air Trine and a Trapezoid configuration that accompany this ingress, and their corresponding Tarot cards. As usual, Joy and I do side-by-side interpretations of the Tarot cards from the Rider-Waite-Smith deck and the Thoth deck.

This gives Tarot students and enthusiasts a chance to compare and contrast these two iconic decks, while learning about the cards that correspond to the current astrological weather. Plus, we each draw cards for what to do with the energy of this Libra season. This Libra ingress calls on us to stay centered, think outside the box, and engage in creative problem-solving.
