New Astrology Video & Divinatory Art for Scorpio Season 2025

What’s Happening

I’ve been in the thick of a Tarot reader’s busy season this month, with multiple events each weekend. In addition, I’ve come back to a regular practice of divinatory art and I’ve been making good progress on my new series of drawings based in the astrological transits. I’ve also been a guest on multiple episodes of The Astrology Star Sisters with Liz Muschett. Unfortunately multiple tech issues have reared their ugly heads during the past week. That has complicated getting both art and videos posted where people can see and enjoy them. Now, however, I’m finally getting caught up!

Astrology Video: Astrology and Tarot Scorpio Season 2025

Scorpio season begins in earnest tonight, and the astrological weather is both intense and complicated now. Our awareness is turning toward the deep undercurrents of power and emotion running through our lives. We’re experiencing the Scorpionic archetype on a grand scale now!

Fellow astrologer Liz Muschett has once again brought Joy Vernon and myself back onto her show “The Astrology Star Sisters” to talk about the astrological weather through the lens of Tarot, focusing on that Scorpio ingress.

During this episode we take an in-depth look at the Grand Cross and Grand Water Trine accompanying this ingress. To illustrate the archetypes involved we discuss some Tarot cards associated with Scorpio and these configurations. As usual, Joy and I do side-by-side interpretations of the Tarot cards from the Rider-Waite-Smith deck and the Thoth deck.

This gives Tarot students and enthusiasts a chance to compare and contrast these two iconic decks, while learning about the cards that correspond to the current astrological weather. Plus, we each draw cards for what to do with the energy of this Scorpio season, with its powerful emotional currents and impetus to go ever deeper in the process of personal and societal transformation.

New Divinatory Art: Mercury Conjunct Mars in Scorpio – October 2025

This past Sunday’s Mercury/Mars conjunction in Scorpio trine the North Node/Nessus in Pisces brought the potential for swift and decisive action in alignment with our karmic path. This transit inspired my newest divinatory drawing, honoring Mercury and Mars in Scorpio as they both continue to fuel Scorpio season via the Grand Water Trine.
