Astrology Video for Mercury & Jupiter Retrograde

After a short break from recording due to my crazy live event schedule in October, I’m back with a new astrology video to talk about the two planets stationing over the next few days. November brings multiple changes in planetary direction that can potentially slow our forward progress and encourage greater introspection along the way. Mercury stations retrograde in Sagittarius on Sunday, November 9th, while Jupiter stations retrograde in Cancer on Tuesday, November 11th. That puts 5 out of 10 of the major planets retrograde for the majority of the month.

Mercury’s retrograde is a short one – only 20 days – and ends on November 29th, just 2 days after Saturn stations direct in Pisces. However, Mercury’s retrograde is likely to pack a punch, as Mercury is in their detriment in Sagittarius, which may add to the stereotypical Mercury retrograde confusion. Mercury also starts off this retrograde with a second conjunction to Mars, encouraging us to reconsider whether we are truly walking our talk.

Jupiter stationing retrograde just two days after Mercury adds to the need to pay attention to how we are thinking about and expressing our beliefs, as Sagittarius is ruled by Jupiter. Jupiter’s retrograde in Cancer brings up for review the ways our beliefs impact family and community, as well as the ways in which authority and ideology affect personal and familial safety and security.

New Divinatory Art: Grand Water Trine

My latest divinatory drawing in the current transit-based series is inspired by the Grand Water Trine that has been active over the past two months. This configuration includes Jupiter in Cancer, Saturn/Neptune/North Node with Centaur Nessus and TNOs Ritona/Teharonhiawako in Pisces, and Black Moon Lilith (Natural and Mean) with TNOs Dziewanna/Typhon/Deucalion in Scorpio. Both Mercury and Mars have already spent time in this configuration during their transits of Scorpio, and now the Sun in Scorpio is entering the configuration, with Mercury rejoining via retrograde in a little over a week.
