New Art on the Summer Solstice!

A colour drawing shows a Hawai'ian woman standing on the seashore, pointing to the viewer's left, apparently directing the flight of four Pacific Golden Plovers across dancing waters lit by the rising Sun. The Sun contains a sigil resembling a gyroscope, and another sigil resembling a pale blue tiki floats in the air before the plovers. A fifth plover lands on the beach below them, while a sixth plover stands nearby, looking up at the woman quizzically as the edges of her orange skirt dance like flames in the warm breeze and her black hair billows out over the water. She has a plover and a plumeria flower in her hair against green leaves, with more leaves around her wrists and hips. She wears a lei of plumeria flowers, in hot pink, yellow, and orange that echo the sunrise behind her. Her eyes gleam gold like the Sun, a Divine light. The sky is a pale aqua blue, the rays surrounding the Sun are pale yellow, peach, and pink, and the water below is a slightly choppy combination of blue and white tinged gold by the light of the rising Sun.

A Blessed Summer Solstice to All!

“Leleākūhonua” is my latest divinatory drawing, connected with the Trans-Neptunian Object of the same name, whose orbit evokes the migratory flight of the Pacific Golden Plover.

This TNO is currently part of a Grand Fire Trine with Venus, Saturn, Lilith and several minor planets, igniting our ideals and our willingness to journey where our hearts yearn, for as long as it takes. Under this transit, our values are as visible the newly risen Sun.

This drawing contains two sigils, one in the sky and one in the rising Sun.

The sigil in the Sun directs us to “Express Integrity.”
The sigil in the sky directs us through the plovers’ flight to “Fly Home Within.”

The Sun has entered the home-loving sign of Cancer today and immediately sextiles Chiron newly in Taurus. Time spent now in our safest spaces while acknowledging and tending to what hurts rekindles our spirits, that we may fly true.
