Today’s Astro Weather: January 26th, 2022

Mars entered Capricorn at 4:53am PST on Monday, giving us the drive to get down to brass tacks, strip away what is superfluous, and hone in on achieving our practical goals. Mars is exalted in Capricorn, and thus patient, meticulous, and single-minded, focused on finding the best path forward and helping us to pace ourselves for the climb ahead, undaunted by harsh climates or rough weather.

Then the Moon in Scorpio squared the Sun in Aquarius (Last Quarter Moon) at 5:41am PST on Tuesday. We live in a society that doesn’t favor introspection, yet that doesn’t mean it isn’t necessary. What we feel bumps up against what we know today, and the personal needs to find a way to reconcile with the political. What whisperings from our hearts are the instincts that can reshape reality, and what are fears that need to be discarded before we can be reborn?

Now Mercury retrograde in Capricorn trines the Lunar North Node in Taurus at 11:28am PST today, after Mercury re-entered Capricorn last night at 7:05pm. In order to step forward into the future, it helps to know where we’ve been. Reconsidering our practical goals both past and present can give our future goals a more solid foundation. Today is a good day to reorganize our data and assess our resources.
