Today’s Astro Weather: February 24th, 2022
Venus in Capricorn sextiles Neptune in Pisces at 8:04am PST, the 3rd of 4 transits involving Neptune this week at 22 degrees. The tangible and the tactile meet the intuitive and the connective now, and even casual encounters can yield surprisingly deep insights. How can expanding your awareness enhance your enjoyment of the practical side of life? How can blending the physical and the emotional yield greater richness of experience, and can you be both romantic and pragmatic?
Much later in the day, but still affecting its energy overall, Mercury in Aquarius squares Uranus in Taurus at 6:22pm PST. This transit can inspire restless and rebellious thoughts, scattered thinking, or anxiety, yet it can also lead to breakthroughs and out-of-the-box ideas. What can help us to go with the flow during this time is to try to stay open-minded and flexible, rather than getting bogged down in certainty that we have all the answers. This is a time when we should cultivate good reflexes to avoid unpleasant surprises, especially when on the road or engaged in important negotiations. That said, Taurus is ruled by Venus, so Uranus in that realm answers to the planet of love and diplomacy, and her interlude with Neptune today may help smooth over some of Uranus’ rougher edges. And in the midst of Venus’ ongoing dance with Mars, the planet that guides how we fulfill our desires, a little Uranian electricity may be the perfect spark to move us from conversation to connection.
