Astro Weather: August 24th, 2023 (Part 1)

The First Quarter Moon in Sagittarius at 2:57am PDT arrives at the apex of a Kite formed from the ongoing Grand Earth Trine. This makes two Kites at once from the same Grand Trine, with Neptune at the apex of the other. Kites can have a fateful feeling, like something is meant to be, and with Uranus and Pluto involved, these two kites offer us the power to make major changes in our lives.

The First Quarter Square of the Moon in Sagittarius to the Sun in Mercury-ruled Virgo expresses tensions between our conscious and unconscious awareness as we see the intentions we set at the New Moon growing toward fruition. But with the Sun’s ruler Mercury newly-retrograde, the Moon has an advantage in this face-off, which can have us driving change forward instinctually, rather than with our customary ways of thinking. And with all three outer planets involved, that is as it should be, as we are encouraged to ease down with our egos and receive the gifts offered by forces far bigger than ourselves.
