The Astrological Weather:

Venus in Pisces sextiles Jupiter in Taurus at 9:37am PDT, forming a Yod that points to the South Node in Libra. This can bring us a sense of emotional release as we let go of the things we no longer need and find the blessings in ending what has run its course.

This transit heralds the Lunar eclipse in Libra coming in just under 14 hours after the sextile. Eclipses disrupt the natural order of things, shaking things up, and Lunar eclipses can unsettle us on both physical and emotional levels. But Venus rules Libra, she is in mutual reception with Jupiter, and she is in the sign of her exaltation. That means this Venus is at her best to help us use this eclipse to shed all that does not bring us joy. (Yep, it’s the Marie Kondo of eclipses!)

This day offers a gentle push to ease down on social obligations, let go of stagnant situations and give ourself some kindness and self-care in preparation for the rigors of the eclipse. And that little nudge from the cosmos could make for a lovely day, if we are willing to relax into it.
