The Astrological Weather

The New Moon in Gemini at 5:38am PDT conjoins Venus but squares Saturn, encouraging us to think seriously about our relationships and be willing to talk about the ways in which our fears and insecurities have been affecting them. We may see more clearly now where we need better boundaries, or where we have had difficulty showing our affections. Since this New Moon trines the South Node in Libra, we may also feel more strongly what may be throwing off our equilibrium that we now need to move away from.

Naming our struggles now may help us find a way out of restrictive coldness or judgmental reactivity into a more loving process of mutual learning, growth, and responsiveness to each others’ ideas. This is not an easy New Moon with which to start this Lunar cycle, but setting intentions now to address what is not helpful to our relationships can help ensure that they last.
