What I’ve Been Up To + Some Astrological Weather

I’ve been continuing to be less active online in recent weeks, as I reconfigure my posting schedule into something more sustainable, while also making some big changes in the analog world. More to come on that!

I’m continuing to do Tarot and astrology readings at in-person events, heading to the MeWe Fair in Ocean Shores this weekend and the Northwest Tarot Symposium September 6th-8th.

Saturn is currently sandwiched between my natal North Node and Mars in Pisces, so today’s Mars/Jupiter conjunction in Gemini is also squaring them. Gemini rules the hands, wrists, and arms, while Mars is associated with inflammation, which Jupiter increases, resulting in Saturnine limitations. So the joints in my hands, wrists, and elbows have been pretty painful for the past several days, slowing my ability to get things done, which has kept my art creation to a minimum. It’s all archetypally on-brand for the Mutable T-Square that is the hallmark of this month’s astrological weather, though I do wish it would be a little less literal… ;P

Still, I managed to join my friend and fellow astrologer Liz Muschett tonight for another episode of The Astrology Star Sisters: Talk Over Tea to talk about that Mutable T-Square and all of its components and related transits that are colouring this week and the next. This set of transits is bringing big “hurry up and wait” energy, and we may feel pulled in many directions at once. It’s been building for a good week already, and it all comes to a head with the Full Moon in Aquarius on August 19th.
